Head of Finance Business Partnering

As Head of Finance Business Partnering, you will play a key leadership role in steering business performance, influencing decisions, and enabling long-term value creation across all our brands in Belgium. You’ll act as a trusted advisor and right hand to the Finance Director and senior leadership, combining a hands-on approach with team leadership, managing a team of 2 to 3 Finance Business Partners.

Your Role

Drive Business Performance

• Provide a consolidated financial view across Belgium, supporting performance steering and decision-making
• Partner with leadership to influence decisions using clear, data-driven insights
• Lead financial modelling and business cases for key initiatives
• Translate complex analysis into actionable recommendations

Lead Planning & Performance Management

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting cycles
• Monitor performance, analyze variances, and define corrective actions
• Drive the use of KPIs to guide business and operational decisions
• Deliver clear P&L and performance reporting

Lead & Develop the Team

• Lead and develop a team of 2 to 3 Finance Business Partners
• Combine leadership with hands-on involvement in key topics
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Partner with the Business

• Act as key finance partner to Directors and senior stakeholders
• Lead performance discussions and strategic reviews
• Simplify complex financial topics for non-financial audiences
• Support development of forward-looking metrics to drive growth

Drive Improvement & Collaboration

• Optimize processes, reporting, and forecasting approaches
• Encourage innovation and smarter use of tools and data
• Collaborate across Finance, Shared Services, and business teams: Act as key interface with the Finance Centre of Excellence (Porto), steering priorities and ensuring high-quality delivery and guide and challenge offshore teams to continuously improve outputs and efficiency
• Drive finance transformation, focusing on automation, simplification, and efficiency
• Drive development of dashboards and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)
• Promote a data-driven culture across Finance and the business
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and controls

Who We’re Looking For

• Experience in FP&A, business partnering, or strategic finance, ideally in international or complex environments
• Proven team leadership with a hands-on style, focused on coaching and talent development
• Ability to create a high-performing team culture based on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Strong ability to influence stakeholders and translate insights into action
• Solid commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers
• Analytical, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset
• Interest in improving tools, processes, and ways of working
• Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complexity
• Professional proficiency in Dutch, French, and English
• Strong Excel skills; Power BI or similar tools are a strong asset
