As Finance Business Partner, you will play a vital role in supporting strategic business decisions and enhancing our financial processes. Working alongside the Brand Leaders, you will provide insights and analysis to help prioritize and execute ManpowerGroup’s strategy. While this is not a management role, your input will be key in influencing business decisions and ensuring financial stability.
What will be your job responsibilities as Finance Business Partner?
Influence Business Decision Making
• Work closely with the Finance Business Partner Brand in-country teams to support the execution of strategy, playing a role in prioritizing and ensuring that ManpowerGroup strategy is executed.
• Develop a solid understanding of ManpowerGroup business model and industry to use this knowledge to provide an independent perspective.
• Constructively challenge the commercial and operations teams, ensuring that business decisions are grounded in solid financial criteria.
• Financial modeling and business case work to support ongoing commercial decision-making.
• Act as a true business partner for the sales channel to understand key strategic metrics and any areas of weaker performance to be addressed.
• Partner with business units to create yearly, quarterly, and monthly forecasts for the brands. Assist in the preparation of future year budgets considering relevant activity data, cost pressures, and commercial teams to establish budgetary submissions.
• Report on significant budgetary variances, identifying any remedial action that needs to be taken.
• All analysis must be of high quality, comprehensive, and contain recommendations when needed.
Participate in strategic meetings with in-country Brand Leads
• Ability to present complex business cases in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, internal and external.
• Lead performance through metrics and key performance indicators.
• Ensure that KPIs are used to help drive business strategic decisions.
• Synthesizes information based on experience and judgment to arrive at optimum solutions to problems, involving both internal and external customers.
• Support in delivering P&L summaries, variance analysis, revenue reporting, and overheads reporting to the business on a weekly/monthly/quarterly and yearly basis.
Relationships
• Responsible for building positive, constructive relationships with brand leaders, and the development of plans to ensure achievement of targets.
• Design, communicate, obtain agreement, and support the in-country relationships with each customer/business.
• Maintain in-country cooperative working relationships with all other finance team & support functions.
The colleague we are looking for would have:
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant combined work experience within decision support functions at medium or large companies with international operations.
• Experience providing critical input to the leadership level and other members of regional/country level management regarding the financial performance of the company, including actions related to plan.
• Strong commercial insight, as well as experience of understanding relationships between key financial and non-financial business drivers.
• Developing relationships and working effectively with offshore support teams.
• Strategic in nature; drives performance, efficiency, and effectiveness; highly organized with attention to detail.
• Professional working proficiency in Dutch, English and French
• Excellent skills in Excel are required; skills in PowerPoint are welcome, and Power BI is very nice to have.
• Analytical insight combined with the ability to find creative solutions.
